If you wish to enter the Bid Whist
Pentathlon Tournament, the fee is $20 per player.
For those of you who
wish to enter the Bid Whist Pentathlon,
This tournament will test your versatility and skills by playing 5 different
styles of Bid Whist.
The top two
or three teams from each city will compete.
Format will be Total points from each particular
city after playing five different styles of bid whist games
accumulated by your city. The top city
with the most points will receive a trophy and
total cash entered.
 We
will have fun
games and music on the side.

because we have a heated pool.
Below is the format for the type
of Bid Whist games for
the Pentathlon.

1st Game
- Last card in deck after shuffle determines
trump-uptown cards win - no bids - player to the
left of dealer starts.

2nd
Game -
Last card in deck after shuffle determines
trump-downtown cards win- no bids - player to
the left of dealer starts
*Note if Big Joker is turned up as last card
on either 1st or 2nd game -
then it's a no trump and uptown cards win
*Note if Little Joker is turned up as last
card on either 1st or 2nd
game - then it's a no trump and downtown cards win

- Straight whist -
progressive - no Jokers - no kitty - minimum
bid is 2.

- Four card kitty - progressive - no Jokers
minimum bid is 3.
