Stacy of New York & Stephan of Los Angeles teamed up together and won 2 of 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Round Of 32 Playoffs" to win the 1st Place Prize at the Friday Night Special Tournament. This team lives 3000 miles apart from each other, and had a great weekend. They also took the 1st Place Prize at the Saturday Night Fever Tournament , held the next night in New Orleans. The Friday Night Special Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour New Orleans Bid Whist Weekend held February 8-9, 2008.
