 In The  DC/Baltimore Main Event
 Thomas (a.k.a. "1-800-BidWhist") & Randall (a.k.a. "Real Deal")  of Pittsburgh won all 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to win the $2000 1st Place Prize at the Main Event Tournament. Thomas said he was thrilled that he finally took a first place prize after coming in 2nd place on numerous occasions. The Main Event Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour DC/Baltimore Bid Whist Weekend held March 14-15, 2008.
