Troy & Sam of the DC Area won 2 of 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to win the Early Bird Special Tournament. Troy & Sam won the 2007 Players Of The year Award. TheEarly Bird Special Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour DC/Baltimore Bid Whist Weekend held
 March 14-15, 2008.
