 Troy & Sam of the DC area won all three games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to win the 1st Place Prize at the Early Bird Special Tournament. It was a great weekend for them. They also won the 1st Place Prize at the Saturday Night Fever Tournament held later that day. This team is still nationally ranked #1.  The Early Bird Special Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour Detroit Bid Whist Weekend held July 20-21, 2007.
