Dennis & Shelia of Los Angeles barely made it into the "Sweet 16" Playoffs by being the 15th ranked team. They then swept through the "Sweet 16" Playoffs to take the 2006 Los Angeles Main Event Championship. They have placed in tournament before, but this is their first 1st Place victory with Sharksinc.

The Main Event Tournament was part of the Bicycle Playing Cards
 Los Angeles Bid Whist Weekend  held  February 24-25, 2006.
